Evenings
A rainy evening playlist
When the traffic stops moving, the evening gets longer. Plan for that.
Rain in Kuala Lumpur does two things at once. It makes the roads slow and it makes staying in look like a good decision. Both of them add an hour or two to an evening that nobody planned for.
A rainy evening playlist looks different from a queue game. Here you want something with a bit more to hold: a build-up game, a longer card run, a set of levels you can move through at your own pace.
The mistake is starting the biggest game you have. It is better to begin with something quick, then move to something longer once you know the evening really is free. A playlist that steps up is easier to finish than one that opens at full volume.
Order also matters for a shared screen. If there are two of you, put the two-player game in the middle of the evening, when both people are still awake and interested, rather than at the end when one of you is already thinking about tomorrow.
You can lay this out on the Session page, which divides any length of time into slots and fills them from the stalls. It is not clever and it does not need to be: the point is to spend the evening playing instead of deciding.
