Why the browser is the quietest console you own
No updates, no storefront, no notification at midnight.
The best thing about a browser game is everything it does not have. It does not install, so it cannot update. It does not have an account, so it cannot send you a notification. It does not need a store, so nobody is pushing it at you.
That list of absences is not a limitation, it is the whole product. A game that cannot bother you is a game you can enjoy in the small gaps of a day without it claiming part of your attention for the rest of the week.
It also means the format rewards a different kind of design. Without progression systems and daily rewards, a game has to be interesting on the first tap to keep anyone at all. The bar is higher and simpler at the same time.
There are real trade-offs. Browser games are usually smaller, shorter and less polished than the biggest titles on a storefront. That is a fair trade for something that never asks for permission, never occupies storage and never gets between you and the rest of your evening.
SowSoy exists because that trade suits a lot of the time we actually have. A queue, a commute, twenty minutes before dinner: none of those windows fit a fifty-hour game, and all of them fit this.
